The IP camera will capture pictures and send them live through video over your Internet, LAN, or IP. This will enable its users to manage the camera using a basic Web Browser.
Unfortunately the IP Camera does not offer a guarantee that your data is delivered to the user correctly. This is done by the transport protocol. This is what will make sure the data is delivered to the users correctly.
The packet which is sent will have a IP header, this gets passed through a checksum. This IP checksum is then verified by the receiver before it processes the IP Packet. If the checksum does not match it will be discarded as a damaged transmission.
There are many types of IP Cameras / Network Cameras. One form of the IP Camera is one which will have an Operating System (OS) and also contain an embedded web-server.
